Freedom of religion and belief are enshrined as fundamental and human rights. In our globalized world they clash in unprecedented ways. In practice, this often leads to conflicts and polarization.
The Department of Social Ethics of the Institute of Systematic Theology at the University of Vienna and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Fundamental and Human Rights invite you to a panel discussion to get in the mood for Human Rights Day. The discussion will provide input on an important social debate and address the issue of freedom of religion or belief in the age of globalization.
The panelists are Michael L. Fremuth, Ingeborg G. Gabriel, Wolfgang Schmale, Ebrahim Afsah and Irene Klissenbauer (moderator).
