The Glothro Workshop on "The Direct Human Rights Obligations Of Corporations In International Law" is taking place in Bled, Slovenia from the 17th - 19th of January 2013. Taking part on behalf of the BIM is Karin Lukas who will speak about the "Right of access to remedy for victims of corporate abuses" on January 17th from 4:50pm - 5:10pm.

HUMAN RIGHTS TALK: data collection and monitoring as significant tools to combat racism

At the talk, panellists Petja DIMITROVA (Artist), Josef KYTIR (Statistics Austria), Monika MAYRHOFER (Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights), and Claudia SCHÄFFER (ZARA-Civil Courage and Anti-Racism Work) will discuss the role of monitoring and data collection as important methods and means of supporting the fight against racism today.
