On May 2, an interview of our researcher Konstantina Stavrou, was published in the Canadian newspaper Le Devoir. Konstantina discusses the use of user-generated content as evidence of war crimes for the case of Ukraine. Among the topics raised in the piece are the advantages and challenges from the use of user-generated evidence in international criminal proceedings, the issue of deepfakes and the means of distinguishing real evidence of crimes from fabricated ones.
