On Tuesday, September 14th, our colleague and child rights expert Helmut Sax will speak at the international Think-tank event "Understanding the Linkages between (Labor) Exploitation, Migration & Human Trafficking" on the subject of human trafficking and migration.
"Access to justice for migrants requires institutional support, both for adults and for young people," so Helmut Sax. During the panel discussion, the experts will discuss the gap between theory and practice, give a deep insight into reality and suggest possible solutions.
"It is disconcerting that we still have to discuss the gender pay gap in 2021", Karin Lukas, Senior Researcher at LBI Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR), and President of the European Committee of Social Rights (CoE-ECSR), says. "International Women’s Day reminds us that some progress has been made, but we need to do much more to achieve plain justice for women, in the labour market and beyond."
Eine neu eingerichtete Kindeswohlkommission unter der Leitung von Irmgard Griss widmet sich dem Kindeswohl im Asylbereich und wird Mitte des Jahres ihren Bericht präsentieren.
