1st Slovenian-Austrian Lawyers’ Day: Managing Migration and the Rule of Law

On Thu, 19. September 2019 and Fri, 20 September 2019 the 1st Slovenian-Austrian Lawyers’ Day will take place at the Juridicum of the University of Vienna. The lectures on the topic “Managing Migration and the Rule of Law” reflect the manifold current challenges in the context of migration processes. The 1st Slovenian-Austrian Lawyers’ Day also serves to promote networking between Austrian and Slovenian lawyers.

From the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Fundamental and Human Rights, Institute Director Michael Lysander Fremuth will speak on Human rights approaches to compensate the absence of a right to asylum? and Adel-Naim Reyhani on The effect of extraterritorial migration control on the legal status of asylum-seekers.
