Nearly 1100 journalists have been murdered worldwide since 2006, some of them in the EU. PEN International’s Caselist lists about 1000 imprisoned writers and journalists.

Björn Tunbäck, Ishraga Mustafa Hamid, Thomas Höhne, Hannes Tretter and Wolfgang Martin Roth will speak at Buch Wien about the worldwide struggle for freedom of expression.
