Whether as witnesses, victims of crime or defendants, children with disabilities may be involved in court proceedings in a wide variety of contexts.

This conference will address procedural adaptations, communication aids and support structures, and is aimed in particular at judges, prosecutors, court support workers, children’s representatives, the police, child and youth welfare services, organisations for people with disabilities, monitoring bodies and other stakeholders at the intersection of the justice system, child protection and inclusion.
