Michael Lysander Fremuth discusses with other experts the dynamics of the Russian-Ukrainian war and its consequences for the global economy.

On Wednesday, 08 November 2023, from 18:00 to 19:30, a Public Lecture on “The Price of War: What Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine Costs Us” will take place as part of the event format “WU matters. WU talks.” The event is organized by the Vienna University of Economics and Business in cooperation with the daily newspaper “Die Presse”.

The discussion will shed light on the dynamics of the Russian-Ukrainian war and its consequences for our global economy. The following questions will be addressed: When is an end to inflation in sight? Is global stagflation looming? What are the consequences of sanctions against Russia? Who benefits from the war? And what do new political alliances and dependencies mean for the global economy?
