An event organised by the Institute of Sociology at the University of Vienna presents a survival guide booklet on the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for children.
Five years after the COVID-19 pandemic reached Austria, the Institute of Sociology at the University of Vienna and the Austrian Science Fund will present a survival guide booklet on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, created by young people for young people as part of the project ‘How 2 Survive a Pandemic: Young People Dealing with Crisis’. The booklet presentation will be accompanied by scientific lectures and a panel discussion with young people and other experts. Our colleague Helmut Sax, Senior Researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institut for Fundamental and Human Rights, will give a keynote speech on the results of his research as part of the project ‘CARES: Child-centered and Accessible crisis-Response for an Effective protection System’. The event will provide insights into young people’s experiences of the Covid pandemic and initiate a future-oriented discourse on how to overcome crises.
Participation at the event is free of charge. Please register by 3 March 2025 at: pbsnz.fbm@havivr.np.ng
