A Curious Mind at the LBI‑GMR

Between 27 and 29 January, a 4th‑grade student from Bundesgymnasium Wien 13 spent her Career Orientation at our institute. The programme offers young people a close-up look at day‑to‑day work and helps them gain realistic first impressions of different professional fields.

Over the course of her three days with us, Clara Anquez‑Traxler gained a broad understanding of the institute’s core areas — from our main research fields to administration, communication, and project development. She explored nearly all of our programme lines in depth.

She showed particular interest in our work on Rights of Nature and children’s rights, engaging thoughtfully with the questions that drive these research areas.

In her feedback, she shared: “I learned a lot during the Career Orientation and I have to say that I sincerely admire the work you do – the projects, the research, and everything that comes with it.”

We were delighted to have her with us and to offer her a multifaceted insight into our work.
