“Golden Staffelholz” for the BIM’s work on children’s rights

The BIM has received the Golden Staffelholz for its involvement in the project Vienna: human rights city. The Human Rights Office of the City of Vienna has for several years defined a focus on children’s rights in its work. With its expertise, the BIM contributes to the further development of the topic, moderates the bi-annual roundtable discussions on different aspects of children’s rights, and contributes with thematic input. The aims of the roundtables are the development of policy recommendations and networking. In 2018, there were roundtables on the topics of “homeless families with minors” and “child trafficking”.
