Since September 2022, Chrissy Ebeling supported the Team “Human Dignity and Security” of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR). Before, Chrissy obtained a LLM in International and European Law in The Netherlands and worked at the International Criminal Court. She specializes in International Criminal Law with a focus on the prosecution of international crimes in national systems.

At the Institute Chrissy started as a Carlo Schmid Fellow funded by the German Academic Exchange Service and she stayed on after. During her time she supported the projects “Justice for All” and “PRORPC”. Her milestones at the LBI-GMR mark her contribution to the final report “Strategically Strengthening Procedural Rights: Challenges, Opportunities, Lessons Learned” the completion of a series of four virtual Regional Consultation Workshops , and the organisation a Regional Consultation Workshop with 55 EU stakeholders in Vienna.
