Hannes Tretter is now a board member of Reporters without borders (Reporter ohne Grenzen, RoG) Austria. RoG is a non-governmental human rights organisation fighting for freedom of expression and of information.

On the occasion of the “International Human Rights Day” the BIM supports a initiative to show solidarity with Turkish journalists.
