Radio Show: Where have all the women’s rights gone?

20 Years after the World Conference on Women in Beijing, the Women on Air took the chance to host a radio show with three generations of women: Helga Konrad, 1995 Federal Women Minister and director of the Government Delegation in Beijing; Sabine Mandl, researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights; Nadine Sprin, student and editor of Global Dialoge and at Radio Orange. The program was held on Tuesday, May 26 2015 from 1pm until 2pm on ORANGE 94.0 and Kabel 92.7. The conversation was about the impressions of the conference at that time and what the conference meant for Human and Women’s Rights.

Please find here the link to the radio show, which was held in German language.

The Radio Show was the Austrian part of the audio series “On the road to Beijing+20”, a cooperation between AMARC (World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters/Association Mondiale Des Radiodiffuseurs Communautaires, AMARC) and UN Women
