The Director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Fundamental and Human Rights, Professor Michael Lysander Fremuth, was presented with the Student Teaching Award in the ‘Best Lecture’ category by the Faculty of Law Student Council at the University of Vienna. It is a great honour for him to have received this award jointly with Professor Magda Pöschl.

As Professor Fremuth was unable to attend the official award ceremony, Elzbieta Golaszewska and Zara Agtas visited the LBI-GMR to present him with the award in person. Those present used the visit as an opportunity to discuss good teaching practice, students’ expectations and the challenges involved in studying law.
