In this role, he supports the institute with administrative and financial tasks and contributes to organizational and operational processes in the finance department.

“Right from the beginning of my work, I was able to gain a comprehensive insight into the institute’s projects and programme lines during an internal retreat. It was particularly exciting for me to get to know the ‘other side’ of financial transactions. I was honestly surprised by how many researchers work here and how diverse the topics they deal with are,” he says.

Atila is currently in his sixth semester studying Management and Entrepreneurship at FHWien der WKW. As part of his studies, he is writing his bachelor’s thesis on the topic of integration through soccer, in which he explores the extent to which sports-related projects contribute to improving the career prospects of young people. In addition to his studies, he has been working as a soccer coach for several years, focusing particularly on children and teenagers.

“As a member of a soccer coaching team, I know how important open communication is, as well as seeking out opinions and understanding the context. This also helps me a lot in my work at the institute,” explains Atila.
