Katharina Plank has been working as a PR and Communications Assistant for the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR) since August 2024. During her bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication studies, she completed an internship with a focus on public affairs at a Viennese PR agency, where she was able to deepen her interest in fundamental and human rights by supporting the League of Human Rights.

Katharina is very motivated to get involved in the organization of the “Human Rights Talks” in order to communicate the relevance of human rights issues to the public. In the fall, she will begin her master’s degree in political science to further explore the political sphere with a thematic focus on international politics.
