Max Messeritsch has been working as a researcher at the LBI-GMR since June 2026. Prior to that, he had been a study assistant at the Institute for Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Vienna in the department headed by Professor Michael Lysander Fremuth since August 2024, and was thus already indirectly part of the institute’s team. His current focus is on coordinating the “Human Rights” master’s programme offered at the University of Vienna.

Max completed his law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna, graduating in January 2026. During his studies, he gained experience as a student assistant at a law firm and later at a renowned Viennese real estate developer before taking up his position as a study assistant at the University of Vienna. In addition to his work at the LBI-GMR, he is currently completing his court internship in the district of the Vienna Higher Regional Court.
