This handbook “Handbuch Friedenssicherung und Konfliktprävention” is intended as a supplement to the OECD Guidelines on Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention and is designed to support their implementation. A detailed description of the defined Austrian lines of intervention, a list of quality criteria as well as practical aids, methods and instruments are to serve as concrete guidelines for the realisation and implementation of projects. The handbook is intended to be an important reference work and a helpful working document both in the centre and in the field, both in dealing with the topic as a cross-cutting issue and in the concrete implementation of the four fields of intervention.
