The first volume of the publication series “Menschen.Rechte!”, edited by Michael Lysander Fremuth under the title “70 Years of the European Convention on Human Rights”, documents a symposium from 2021 dedicated to the anniversary of the Convention. It contains contributions on, among other things, the significance of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) for the Austrian and German fundamental rights system and foreign policy, as well as on the need for reform of Austrian fundamental rights jurisdiction and the question of social rights and the Convention.
