The brochure “Digitale Spiele für den Home Learning-Betrieb in Politischer Bildung und Geschichte” presents low-threshold approaches to integrating digital games for distance learning. Only those games were selected that are free of charge and mostly playable without technical effort.  Since games sometimes require more time than is available in the regular classroom, their use as a teaching tool is particularly well suited now. The majority of the selected games are serious games, i.e. games that have been created for learning contexts. For each game there are didactic suggestions and work tasks for the students.
