The publication “Empfehlungen für nicht-diskriminierende Schulbücher. Fokus Gender und sexuelle Orientierung” raises awareness of possible discrimination in textbooks and provides teachers and pupils, textbook authors and editors of teaching materials with a practical tool that can be used to analyse texts and images. The aim is to visualise examples of good practice, identify areas for improvement and encourage a process of reflection.
