The booklet accompanying the First Vienna Protest Trail, a cooperation project between Zentrum polis and the author Martin Auer, contains basic information on the individual stations as well as tips for preparation and follow-up work in the classroom. Since the end of June 2019, there have been 18 stations that can be “hiked”. The project for young people and those interested in politics gives “protest hikers” a new perspective on the city of Vienna. The hiking trail leads to places that can be associated with the themes of protest, resistance, solidarity and civil courage. Panels with mobile tags are installed at these locations and enable users to call up information from the Internet directly on site.
