Consultation for the Austrian Development Co-operation in the thematic fields of Governance, Human Rights and Securing Peace

About the Project

In 2016, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights won the tender for a framework contract with the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). Its goals are to further root and develop Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance, as well as Preventing Conflict and Securing Peace within the work of the Austrian Development Agency and the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.

During the previous phase from 2012 to 2016, the focus of cooperation was on consultations in the field of Human Rights with an emphasis on consultations concerning the national programmes for for Bhutan, Moldavia and Ethiopia, as well as on the inclusion of persons with disabilities and gender mainstreaming in development cooperation, human rights & business and on preventing conflict and securing peace.
