POLAND: Strengthening Anti-Discrimination Policies (Twinning)

About the Project

The overall objective of this Twinning project was to strengthen the capacity of the Polish Government Plenipotentiary for Equal Status of Women and Men in the area of anti-discrimination policy, especially in respect of the task assigned to the Government Plenipotentiary to prepare the legal and operational basis for the new organizational structures implementing anti-discrimination policies. This also included the implementation of co-ordination mechanisms, positive measures and programs to counteract discrimination on grounds of race, ethnic origin, belief, age and sexual orientation.
