Research Topic & Roadmap
The project “Elaboration of a Human Rights-(Umbrella) Policy Prototype for the Raiffeisen Nachhaltigkeits-Initiative (RNI)” will be carried out by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR) together with members of the Raiffeisen Nachhaltigkeits-Initiative from March 2021 to January 2022. It deals with human rights due diligence in the financial sector.
Research Focus
In order to improve human rights due diligence in the financial sector, the project aims to develop a prototype human rights policy. This prototype should work specifically for all members of the Raiffeisen Nachhaltigkeits-Initiative.
Research Method
The LBI-GMR works across programme lines on this project. Researchers from the programme lines Business and Development Cooperation, Asylum and Migration, (In-)Equalities and Non-Discrimination and General Human Rights Issues are involved in the development of the prototype.
