Workshop for establishing of a tailor-made instrument for monitoring the implementation of children’s rights

In the framework of our project EU Support for Rule of Law in North Macedonia an initial workshop on (inter-)national good practices “For establishing a tailor-made instrument for monitoring the implementation of children ‘s rights” will take place on 20 May.

The high-profile event in Skopje will be attended by Jovanka Trencevska, Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Naser Ziberi, Ombudsman on the situation on children’s rights in North Macedonia, and Igor Jadrovski, meMber of the Commission for Prevention and Protection against Discrimination on the situation on children’s rights in North Macedonia.

Our colleague Helmut Sax, Senior Researcher at the LBI-GMR and expert on children’s rights, will give a presentation on “Learning from international good practices on setting up a monitoring instrument as well as on the development and use of indicators”. The workshop also aimed to identify and discuss the requirements for a structural set-up for co-cooperating within the process of monitoring and reporting on children’s rights indicators.
