The 70th anniversary of the ECHR provides an opportunity for academics and practitioners to exchange views and discuss achievements as well as new challenges for human rights protection. Substantive references to Austrian constitutional law in other respects and to the law of the European Union will also be elaborated.

As far as the applicable regulations allow, we will hold the event in presence. In doing so, we will take into account the strictest security and hygiene requirements. Please note that in this case a security and hygiene concept will apply for the very limited number of possible participants on site:

• personal registration, limitation of attendees with sufficient distance between individually assigned seats
• mandatory access tests (PCR test not older than 24h, alternatively: rapid antigen test on site)
• obligatory mouth-nose protection
• Disinfection dispensers for regular hand disinfection of all participants
• Regular breaks for sufficient disinfection of equipment and ventilation of the room
