Children’s rights expert discussion 2023: “Empowering children and young people in times of crisis!”

On Thursday, 16 November 2023, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. the Children’s Rights Expert Discussion 2023 “Empowering children and young people in times of crisis!” will take place as part of the Styrian Children’s Rights Week. Our colleague Hauke Benjes-Pitcz will discuss the mental and physical health of children and adolescents and how young people can be well supported in (personal and/or global) crises.
During the event, the panelists will focus on changes in young people’s everyday lives and on measures to ensure that children and young people can grow up in a healthy, positive way in these challenging times. They will also address how important structures such as schools should be expanded, so that support systems are effective for those who need help.
