APPEAL on the non-refoulement of the Iranian human rights activist Maryam Shariatmadari through Turkey to Iran, and on the release of the Iranian lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh, who is imprisoned in Iran and in mortal danger
The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights strongly condemns the recent arrest of the Iranian human rights activist Maryam Shariatmadari, and at the same time urges the Islamic Republic of Iran to release the Iranian lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh from prison immediately.
