Patricia Hladschik is appointed as Austrian expert in the Council of Europe Education Policy Advisors Network (EPAN). On 23-24 April 2018, the network will be launched at a Conference on “Democratic culture – from words to action”, which will be organised in Copenhagen in the framework of the Danish Chairmanship of the Council of Europe.

The aim of the network is to contribute to effective reforms in the 50 States Parties to the European Cultural Convention in respect of education for democracy and human rights in accordance with the objectives of the Charter on Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education, in particular by encouraging integration of the Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture.
