Between 5. and 21 August  and 7 to 18 September the Olympic and Paralympic Games took place or rather will take place in Rio de Janeiro.

As part of the project “Nosso Jogo – Initiative für globales Fair Play“, supported by the Austrian Development Agency and co-ordinated by the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC), the LBI-GMR drafted the study “Olympia-Hoffnungen für österreichische Unternehmen in Rio 2016?” dealing with challenges, potentials and corporate responsibility for human rights in the context of the major sports events, specifically analyzing the situation in Rio the Janeiro.
