The cirminal law reform of the death penalty by stoning for same-sex relations is a violation of human rights. This also applies to the other facts such as extramarital sexual intercourse among Muslims, robbery and insulting the Prophet. The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights joins international criticism of the reform and calls on the Sultanate of Brunei to withdraw the criminal law reform.
