The new project „EU Support for Rule of Law in North Macedonia” was officially launched on 8 May 2023. On the occasion of the project start, project director Agnes Taibl and project manager Katharina Langer from the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR) visited the project team in Skopje for a first on-site mission. An informal kick-off meeting was held with final beneficiaries in North Macedonia, project experts, as well as representatives of the Delegation of the European Union.

The informal kick-off event was a full success and showed once more the commitment of all partners to jointly work towards the planned results aimed at strengthening the rule of law in North Macedonia.
