The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights under Junior Project Lead Hannes Tretter is advising Albania on the subject of data protection as part of a twinning project. The aim is to align Albanian laws with the EU acquis and to strengthen the responsible institutions.

The video was produced as part of the twinning project “Institution-building for alignment with the Union acquis on the protection of personal data” in Albania. The project is implemented by the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Consortium for Information Systems and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Fundamental and Human Rights in cooperation with the Albanian Commissioner for Information and Data Protection. The project is funded by the European Union.
