Waltraut Kotschy is data protection and e-government expert and has many years of experience in this field in the Austrian federal administration and, in particular, as an executive member of the former Austrian Data Protection Commission. She has also participated in many EU projects on data protection abroad (most recently in Albania in 2020/2021), regularly teaches courses and lectures on data protection and has published widely in this area of law. Furthermore, she advises companies and other organizations on all legal aspects of data protection and has been CEO of two consulting companies (DPCC e.U. and dsgvo.help.gmbh) for several years.
