Lecture: “Do companies also have to comply with human rights?”

Stephen Rabenlehner, research associate at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR) will give a lecture on “Business and Human Rights”.

On Wednesday, 15 May 2024, a lecture by our colleague Stephen Rabenlehner from the program line “Sustainability, Development, Business, Social” will take place at the VHS Urania from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m..

This will deal with the topic of “Business and Human Rights”. The focus will be on the question of whether companies must also comply with human rights. Specifically, the lecture will look at existing regulations designed to help companies avoid negative impacts on human rights and the environment. It will also explain how companies can contribute to strengthening and preserving human rights.
