On the occasion of the evaluation procedure on a legislation amendment of the “federal constitutional law regarding the publication on information of general interest and the right to access to information” the BIM publishes its second issue in a series of comments on current human rights relevant developments and topics.

The second “BIM Position” is an article by Hannes Tretter on the topic of access to information. The author analyses the implementation of the freedom of information in Austria as well as in an international context and also deals with the role of modern forms of information, such as social media.
