A big belated thank you to Jana Berchtold. She actively supported our programme line “Human Dignity and Public Security” as part of a voluntary internship this summer. With great commitment, Jana has been involved in projects on children’s rights and child participation (f. ex. EU project CARES, EU support for rule of law in North Macedonia, Forced marriages – Stock-taking for effective policies against forced marriages in Austria).

Jana continues to work intensively for the rights and interests of young people. As the current UN Youth Delegate (UNYD), she brings the concerns of young people from Austria to the UN level.
