Dr Naif Bezwan is associated expert at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights and also acts as Honorary Senior Research Associate in the Department of Political Science, UCL London. He has worked, conducted research, and taught at various universities in Germany, Turkey, Austria and the UK. Bezwan has published on politics, the political system and the modern history of Turkey, Kurdish politics and the self-determination conflict in multiple languages.
His research and teaching interests include intercultural studies, Turkish foreign and domestic politics, Kurdish politics, the Middle East, comparative migration and diaspora and political theory. He is regularly featured in the media as an expert on Turkey’s internal and external politics, Kurdish politics and self-determination conflict.
