Dieter Schindlauer

Dieter Schindlauer is a human rights expert with a broad portfolio, specializing in equality and non-discrimination as well as law enforcement and rule of law. He is an experienced trainer, facilitator and speaker in the fields of equality, non-discrimination, police violence and tactical communication as well as rule of law, especially for decision makers:inside, administration, judiciary, police, multipliers:inside, media professionals and civil society actors:inside. Furthermore, he was co-founder and long-time president of the Klagsverband zur Durchsetzung der Rechte von Diskriminierungsopfern (Litigation Association for the Enforcement of the Rights of Victims of Discrimination) and is a board member of the association ZARA – Zivilcourage und Anti-Rassismus-Arbeit (Civil Courage and Anti-Racism Work), as well as Austrian member of the European Network of Legal Experts in Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination, lecturer at the law faculty of the University of Vienna and regular lecturer at other universities. He has many years of experience in the implementation of EU projects with human rights relevance and is currently leading the implementation of an EU project to promote the rule of law in North Macedonia.
