Latest information on the war in Ukraine

The military aggression of the Russian Federation against the sovereign state of Ukraine concerns us all. In addition to the security, social and economic consequences that an armed conflict triggers, we are witnessing a humanitarian catastrophe in large parts of the country, which is rooted in multiple violations of international humanitarian law and human rights.

As the largest Austrian research institute for fundamental and human rights, we would like to inform you about the situation of human rights in Ukraine, but also in Russia, and present and support the work of humanitarian organizations. #WeStandWithUkraine

On this page we therefore provide you with up-to-date information on the war in Ukraine and give national and international (partner) organizations as well as those affected a platform to have their say and be heard.
