Since November 2023, Eva Charlotte Sperber has been supporting the program line “Human Dignity and Public Security” at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR). This position as a Carlo Schmid Fellow is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service from November to the end of February. Charlotte will support the team in particular with the projects Flightrisk and CARES.

Charlotte is currently completing her Master’s degree in German and Italian Law at the Universities of Cologne and Florence. She is particularly interested in the protection of fundamental rights within the criminal justice system. During her time at the LBI-GMR, she is especially looking forward to applying the knowledge she acquired during her studies and learning even more about human rights topics.
