Since the beginning of October 2023, Anna Weber supports the team “Human Dignity and Public Security” in the area of children’s rights as a research student. In winter 2022, she was an intern at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights (LBI-GMR).  Now she will especially support the projects “Being a Child in Times of Crisis” and “CARES“.

Anna is a social worker and religious educator and is currently completing her master’s degree in social work. Previously, Anna worked at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Freiburg as a research assistant in the Research Office and gained experience in the practical field of social work. Anna is particularly looking forward to deepening interdisciplinary perspectives on children’s rights and applying participatory approaches to social research.
